Emergency Evacuations Emergency Evacuation Plan

1 In Home
I wound take my children to the bathroom by the hallway. The first aid kit is on the first shelf in front closet by the front door. Diapers and wipes are on the back of the couch (names are on all items). Incase that’s not enough, look in front closet in individual bags with child’s name on the bag.  The rest of the children use the toilet. There is plenty of water and cups in the bathroom. If you want something to eat (ex. Crackers and cookies) are always in the pantry on the left side of the oven in the kitchen. I always have a phone and cell phone on the back of a chair leading into the living room. There is a small bag containing a list of all children and emergency numbers for my Daycare in top left drawer in bathroom. Included in that bag are walky-talkies, note paper and pen and a floor plan in case someone isn’t familiar with my house.

Close, Safe House:
If I need to leave the house or my backyard, I would walk my children three houses down to Jennifer Reedy’s house (she is listed) until everything is clear. I would be carrying my bag of diapers, also in the bag I would have my phone numbers, walky-talkies, pen and paper and cell phone to Jennifer’s house.
